Pivot Switchblade

The stateside brand Pivot are renowned for pushing the boundaries and adopting far-out concepts. The Switchblade is no different. Bearing a number of Pivot hallmarks including its smooth frame design with organically flowing lines, a super slick finish and the proven DW link rear end. The Switchblade has adopted the ultra wide 157 mm Super Boost rear axle measurement, which gives the ultimate in both rigidity and tire clearance – we’re talking up to 3.25˝ for 27.5”+. The Switchblade fits 29er tires up to 2.5”. The design also permits super short and agile 428 mm chainstays, which plays a decisive role in how this high-end bike handles. Riders can choose between 27.5+ or 29˝ wheels. The Switchblade is a real do-all bike with huge possibility for adjustment – and rightly so given its high price tag.
