With the Road Force, FMoser have developed a pioneering, variable e-road bike, combining two different concepts in one bike and thereby giving it a very unique selling point. The stock bike gets shipped with a second, non motorised rear wheel. Thanks to the smart connection, you can easily convert the bike from analogue to electric, allowing you to adapt the bike to the intended ride. And it’s worth it! It’s up to you to decide whether you want to conquer the climbs with the power of your legs or whether you would prefer a little electronic assistance. With the FSA HM1 hub motor installed, the Road Force tips the scales at 13.1 kg. It delivers plenty of assistance on steep climbs and responsive handling up front. The rear end feels somewhat sluggish, though the bike’s handling is always predictable and good natured. Without the battery and motor, the weight drops to 9.5 kg. On the descents, the bike offers very precise cornering, and it feels nice and stable thanks to the wheelbase. Thanks to the tasteful paint job and neat integration with hardly any visible cables, it’s a feast for the eyes.
