Giro Aether MIPS

With the Aether MIPS, Giro presents an innovative implementation of MIPS safety technology. In contrast to earlier models, the spherical MIPS construction is placed between two floating EPS shells instead of between an EPS shell and the rider’s head, as was the case previously. The helmet a little bulkier in the front, as a result, but promises more safety in the event of a collision. The Aether is excellently ventilated and, although not a featherweight, light enough at 266 g. The straps and pads are comfortable and the parking spot for your glasses works fine with the ones we tested. The aggressive red fade rounds off the package aesthetically. Chapeau!
