The new Roadster isn’t just a design revolution for Riese & Müller. With the portfolio of the brand previously associated with rugged and functional bikes, the slim silhouette of the Roadster speaks the design language of urban ebikes that are more often powered by the smaller FAZUA or MAHLE motors. However, the Roadster doesn’t hold back with either the motor or battery, being equipped with a Bosch Performance Line CX motor that is fueled by a large 625 Wh battery. Together with its sporty handling, it’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing. The online configurator lets you add practical racks or comfort-boosting options to the build. Nonetheless, the weight of the Roadster remains manageable and, if needed, the bike can still be taken on the train or stored in the basement. The Riese & Müller doesn’t just see the daily commute as a means to an end, but delivers an enjoyable ride for its sporty and urban target group.
