Schwalbe Eddy Current

With the Eddy Current, Schwalbe has introduced the first tyre that’s been developed from the ground up specifically for use on eMTBs. The solid profile is reminiscent of a motocross tyre, and the Eddy Current is available in 29″ x 2.4″ front and 27.5″ x 2.8″ rear. With 2.7 kg for the set (1,330 g front/1,403 g rear), the Eddy Current is no featherweight and it rolls quite sluggish, but it can be ridden with very little air pressure, generating huge amounts of traction in all situations. Besides being extremely puncture-proof, the Eddy Current is very hard-wearing, making it the perfect tyre for aggressive riders who ride their eMTB in the roughest terrain.
