TQ | HPR40
The new TQ-HPR40 mid-drive motor was designed specifically for electric drop-bar bikes, and impressed above all with its ultra-compact design, thus enabling near-invisible integration into the frame. The low system weight and centrally positioned mass ensure a particularly nimble, natural ride feel. Even at full assistance, the motor is whisper-quiet, delivering up to 200 watts peak power, providing enough tailwind for demanding climbs. The integrated torque sensor matches the motor output to the riders pedalling input, resulting in a smooth, natural ride with no noticeable drag above the 25 km/h threshold. Smart details like the internally-routed cables for a lighting system, the discreet control display tucked into the end of the handlebars, and the option to control the assistance modes via electronic drivetrains contribute to a clean and cleverly executed system. With the HPR 40, TQ are setting new standards, allowing bike manufacturers to build lightweight, stylish and high-performance e-road and e-gravel bikes.
