Trailmech Enduro Boost freehub

With its Enduro Boost hub, Ukranian manufacturer Trailmech combines an innovative helical freehub engagement mechanism with high-quality workmanship, good performance and a very attractive price point. Whilst most hubs use straight pawls in the freewheel and hub, the Trailmech Enduro Boost System relies on two interlocking rings with helically cut rings at an angle of 7.2°. This increases the contact surface’s engagement area and also ensures that the harder you pedal, the more securely the two rings lock together. A big, internal axle and large bearings, which are positioned further inward compared to conventional freewheels, provide the necessary stiffness. Additionally the simple design also allows for easier maintenance.
