The M83 Vagabund Iron doesn’t just look amazing; thanks to optimised batch production, it’s also a competitively priced boutique bike. The robust steel frame is made in Germany, and it’s specced with European made components throughout. German brand Beast Components supply the carbon handlebar, stem, and seat post, while the groupset and wheels come from Italian brand Campagnolo, who also manufacture in the EU – this keeps the shipping routes short and offers a sustainable supply of materials. Thanks to the natural damping characteristics of steel, the M83 provides a comfortable ride, while the Pirelli tires generate plenty of grip. All these features and attributes make for a unique and rare bike, and it presents a competitively priced, locally made option, too. The batch production method allows M83 to produce around 200 bikes per year – well-made bikes will always be rare.
