Thanks to the systems’ compact dimensions, manufacturers have more flexibility when designing the frame, keeping it looking slender and making it more versatile since the drive unit is hidden by the cassette of the rear wheel. The intuitive thru-axle connection makes it easy to repair a puncture, automatically connecting to the battery, so there’s no need to fumble with cables and plugs. Via My SmartBike App, you can select various motor settings and view the remaining battery capacity. There’s a 236 Wh or a 350 Wh integrated battery available to power the motor, which you can supplement with an external 171 Wh range extender.
