Specialized’s new Tactic helmet raises the bar in terms of fit, function and comfort. Contrary to what you might expect, it offers all this at a price point well below that of comparable helmets. With the Integrated Fit System, the knob to adjust the fit is integrated into the helmet shell, making it particularly easy to use. The adjustment system covers the entire circumference of your head, placing it more centrally in the helmet and distributing pressure more evenly. The result is a very comfortable fit, no matter how sweaty things get. The Tactic extends far down the back of the head where it features an ergonomic recess so that it doesn’t restrict your freedom of movement. It comes equipped with the MIPS Evolve system to mitigate rotational forces and has been certified to the strict NTA-8776 standard for eMTB helmets. The helmet is compatible with the ANGi system, which can notify a pre-configured emergency contact in case you crash. The designers also thought of the eyewear and provided special channels that prevent the temples from getting pressed against your head.
