The stiff carbon sole features ventilation ports, for example, improving the shoes’ comfort and climate significantly on warm days. There’s a rubber cap on the heel, which doesn’t just protect the carbon sole, but also offers noticeably more grip when walking. The inside of the heel is rubberised, too, providing a secure fit in the shoe as well as more efficient power transfer. Two Li2 Boa ratchets cinch everything down and the padded tongue prevents pressure points even when you’ve got the laces securely tightened.
